I don't know if this design works or not. I like the look and feel of it. It seems like it could have been pulled off a little more gracefully but the effect is cool. Almost didn't put it in the gallery due to the incomplete nature of the site's content...

Pretty good portfolio website. Layout it tight and well formed, the text feels a bit too small and the subnav 'flyout' menu definitely is too small for my taste. In the end this is a great website to show off the work of a talented designer.
