I can really appreciate a simple approach to a website – especially a conference website. I like the three column design, keeping things front and center like uxmad.com is doing. Kinda screams to be responsive too.

Love the illustrations of the trees in the background. The little multicolored squares that denote the screens in the slideshow(s) are subtle and skirt the line between not reading like slideshow markers at all. The way the logo and top nav is treated visually is...

I like the how the visual hierarchy is working on this site design. It goes from lots of whitespace and a simplistic illustration to denser more packed grid blocks down the page. The main illustration/slideshow is also nicely done.

Beautifully designed responsive website. I love the minimalism and simplicity exhibited here. The little down arrow on the main navigation is so subtle and beautifully worked into this design it makes me smile.
