I have always read the hicksdesign blog. Recently it looks to have been reworked a bit, and of course it's great.

I don't know what it is about this site, but I like it. It suffers from clutter a bit, with trying to fit everything above the fold. Maybe it's the colors, or the illustration but in the end I like the way it came together.
