Web Design Inspiration Curated

Jason Beaird – jasongraphix.com

Great new site design from Jason Beaird. It sports a nice looking grid and dark color combo. The site appears deep with content, since it's his personal blog as well as integrates different social networking aspects to create a nice 'life-stream' sort of experience....

Sarah Longnecker

The design work on this site is fantastic, great color choices, subtle elements. It's well done and well produced. I love good detail work and this site has it.

Tutorial9

Pretty interesting design elements in this blog design. The background illustration is crazy, but the whole thing just looks smoothly done. It definitely has all the 'blog' stuff worked out too. This one may be a great candidate for the podcast review...

Postbox

Nice clean product website. The imagery totally dovetails into the branding/naming of the product. It has really crisp colors and clean lines.

Triplux

Very nice looking blog. I love the visual tone and fuzzy feeling this site gives. The colors are a nice compliment to the simple nature of this blog design.

flobraker.com

This is a fantastic little website design. It is tight from top to bottom, the colors, layout and minimal aspect all come together for a site that's darn near perfect.

doublehappycreative.com

Amazingly simple design. I tend to like sites that are more minimal like these. This site has a pretty good portfolio too. One thing I always think about on site's like these, is how much the main imagery effects the design. That big center picture is really the main...

flickout.com

Pretty cool site about movie trailers. Loving the colors and great layout of this site. They've managed to get a lot of information onto one page, it's a long page, but it works.

mattdempsey.com

Really great designer portfolio site. Really strong portfolio. Everything feels really "big" to me at first glance, but it grows on you.

junecloud.com

Nice fun looking website for a web development company. I really like how they've thrown up front and center their main offering.

flyosity.com

Really great looking blog and portfolio site of Mike Rundle. Nice cool colors and graphics, well done.

lealea.net

Very interesting looking site design. I like the colors and the non-scrolling background element. Clever site here - I like that "work" is called "results".

dc2009.drupalcon.org

Really very full looking website for this conference. Lot's of stuff going on visually.

noded.biz

Really neat fresh looking layout, they are not afraid of 'the fold'...

uxlondon.com

Very nice clean conference website design. Good colors (or colours...), nice placement of elements.

jakejohnson.com

Pretty cool blog design. Almost too much flash to make it in, but overall I like it. Nice, interesting footer design too.

kerrynehil.com

Simple approach, simple execution, I love it. I like the swatch of yellow, like a brush-stroke in the background. The 'work' page is done nicely too.

montylounge.com

I don't know if this design works or not. I like the look and feel of it. It seems like it could have been pulled off a little more gracefully but the effect is cool. Almost didn't put it in the gallery due to the incomplete nature of the site's content...

kurtgannon.com

Pretty good portfolio website. Layout it tight and well formed, the text feels a bit too small and the subnav 'flyout' menu definitely is too small for my taste. In the end this is a great website to show off the work of a talented designer.

fulleryouthinstitute.org

Overall this is a good looking website. There are some issues with the various navigation schemes on the page and it seems "big" to me. I like the feel of this site though.
