Five Simple Steps

http://www.fivesimplesteps.com/

Love the changes to the Five Simple Steps site from when we reviewed them last March.  This feels right – it’s clean, simple, beautiful, and practical like the books they sell.

It looks to be built on Shopify, but doesn’t have the feel of most e-commerce sites (yes, old term, because most shopping sites still look like that). The faceted / filtered search, with a jQuery masonry base runs really smoothly and quick. Like the book detail pages and also the recommendations at the bottom of the home page.

Also like that fact that it was started by a husband and wife team (Mark and Emma Boulton), and another husband and wife team (Craig and Amie Lockwood) have picked it up, and are producing great stuff.

Cheers Mates – Great Job!
