There’s something to be said for a single-page design that’s done well. I’ve said it before, but if you can pull it off then go for it. For a freelancer portfolio site this one gets the job done and then some.

Good color choices, great background contrast and solid type treatment make this site a good design. I particularly like the detail work in how the background works with the other parts of the site and the little floury wing-dings in the header.

This is a pretty straight-forward website, it’s a portfolio for a designer, so that’s the first thing they present you with. Smart, well-done, and to the point, I like that.

Looking for a different take on the personal blog/portfolio/about website? This one should do it, from the static top nav to the little details all across the page, this is one well crafted and executed design.

I wasn’t sure about this design at first but it has grown on me, the background is definately something I haven’t seen before, “denim”? But there are a lot of little details the designer worked in that I can’t help but appreciate it....
