CSSOff Update #4

cssoff

Welcome to update #4!

This is a quick update on CSSOff before the holidays strike. We are currently just over 50% done with judging. It’s turned out to take more time than we’d originally thought to get through each entry but we’re really committed to spend the right amount of time with each submission so that everyone will at least get a clean score for feedback.

I did see this tweet and want to address it here for everyone:

Oh yeah, CSSOff is not sustainable, but we’re just crazy enough to not care. The thing is we LOVE this stuff and we’re having a really great time reviewing all the entries. Believe me we’re getting a ton of knowledge out of this whole thing. So, unsustainable or not, we’re committed to go the distance for as long as all of you guys are into it!

Yeah, Yeah, When will you be done?

As it stands now, we’re going to continue judging the entries and are targeting having round one done here by the turn of the new year. We’ll be off to the final winners round right after that and it should go much quicker since we’ll have this all pretty well sorted. I don’t think we’ll have the winner announced by early January, realistically it looks like early February. Hopefully sooner if it all goes well for us when we return after the holidays.

T-Shirt Orders

We’ve gotten word that the shirts are a little behind schedule but are being produced now. We should be mailing those out to all of you who ordered them the first of the year. HUZZAH!

Happy Holidays

I hope everyone has a great holiday and brings in the new year with a bang! Until then, stay tuned and we’ll be thinking of you all!

It’s been 2 weeks and no new updates. It means they are really busy with judging, or there is nothing new to post. Anyways, I appreciate all the time they put in this, the tasks are pretty complex 🙂
