I find the website great because it has a strong personality and everything from graphic elements, to effects and texts support this personality. The overall experience is great and it is fun to surf it, but it also has some details which just might make your day better.

Interesting graphics and layout on this site design. The colors are really strong and bold, as is the overall visual effect of this site. There’s a lot of stuff going on in the sub pages of this site. I think the large header area takes up too much space on the sub page, leaving most of the content largely hidden from view. Overall it can be a quite engaging site at times and looks really nice.

Not only do I like the color and com position of the site itself, I *love* the ‘Colin Wright’ quote in the top right corner. It’s a friendly punch to the gut.

Is the background supposed to look like bathroom tile?

I like the background and the typography. This are the keys in success of making a Website Design aside from the coding.

This is a great website. It gives a visionary feel through its user friendly interface. It looks like this team has advanced knowledge of what is called Practical Ergonomics for Web Design.
Secondly, my opinion as an expert designer is that this website has a great personality and I think that this is one of the best presentantion site so far this year. Great bold colors, very good layout that gives a creative feel, fine details, and an overwhelming visual effect. And the text is very cool.

Good work Gene posting this website

The backround, which makes liek 90% of the website, i guess is stolen from Iunewind, a pretty fresh russian designer you can check his work here http://iunewind.com/2009/08/02/field-of-art/.
The typography is rather crappy and shows lack of some basic typopgraphy knowledge. Please stop ripping people that have talent and patience. My next mail will go to the author of the illustration.
Quick advice: Don’t steal if you don’t know how to steal.

You are right Jan, I sent a mail to the author but he said that the picture was bought from him. I think the guys are OK. We both judged them too quickly for stealing the illustration 🙂
