Screencast Review

Love the pink and black colors in this website, and the monster illustration for the “G” is awesome. I feel that some of the smaller size implementation of the copy in the main type can get a bit taxing on your eyes to read, but overall I like the type selections, it all fits together really well. In our screen cast, Gio wasn’t so into the scrolling vs. the linked nav elements on the page, it doesn’t really bother me quite as much. There’s a deeper discussion there that’s more relevant to the single page, scrolling vs. anchored link site design in general and not so much with this website in particular – perhaps that’s a great blog post for the future. For the purposes of this site design though, we both really enjoyed the design of this website, the look and feeling that comes across is quite nice and overall it just has a nice vibe to it. Like I would really like to get to know the designer here because of the design style alone kind of thing.
