This was easily one of my favorite projects to work on in the past year.
Private Grave is the online portfolio and blog of aspiring Tattoo artist Albert Grave.

There is a lot of really interesting things going on in this design. I love the dark paired with the purple, it really matches well with the imagery. Then there’s the imagery, it’s so dark and yet the character isn’t just ‘dark’ it’s dark and vibrant which is pretty cool to me. Perhaps it’s the textures working with the imagery & type that I’m responding to. Or maybe it’s that there is a sort of classic look to the illustrations, the thick lines and very ‘graphic’ feel to it all. Either way, I really like this blog design, it’s so rich with character you can’t help it.
