Very nice minimal layout with some nice design interest sprinkled here and there on the periphery. Then, BAM! You find out that stuff is actual navigational pieces to the site. What a great interaction surprise and reward for exploring as well as smart way to make your way through the content. This is super bad this is!

    really nice. unfortunately i kept finding myself trying to two-finger swipe to scroll from one section to another horizontally, and on chrome that triggers “back” … if it were a tool, i’d eventually learn not to do it. regardless, the transitions are beautiful and really well done.
