Fieldwork

What a beautiful site Fieldwork is. It’s so simple yet full of detail. I love the soft transition between pages, which I can’t see working on another site as well as here. Then each page while similar is just a bit different enough to show it’s all been made with care.

Right on. I also love the flirtatious page transitions. The sex appeal of this site is under the radar. But then again, sexiness has always been about subtlety for me. Anyways, enough about me, Fieldwork works.

Yeah, I love the subtle page transitions and illustrations. Very, very nicely considered site.

I like your point about each page being different enough. This reminds of this post http://cognition.happycog.com/article/sweet-systems which says “Too systematic and the design becomes predictable and repetitive.” which is something that is harder to do than it first might appear. Also love the “work” page on this site with the text overlay – I’ve seen this elsewhere but it usually falls apart on responsive sites pretty quickly!
