Don’t Talk to Robots is the portfolio of designer and developer Doug Vander Meulen. The responsive design highlights various web design and print projects via re-sizable slideshows. The site is built using HTML5 and CSS3, compiled using SASS. The site also features a robot being assembled as you scroll the length of the site.

Beautiful example of using creativity to explore your character over complex interactions and dev work. I love the simplicity of the stuff designed into this site, like the robot building itself as you scroll and the large “don’t talk to robots” as you use that back to top/home action. The design samples presented in line drawings of the devices is a nice touch too, keeping everything in line visually.
