creativebloq.com

Creative Bloq is a brand new website by the makers of Computer Arts, 3D World and .net magazine that offers up a daily dose of design tips & inspiration. First impressions are that this could be something good. What I noticed immediately is that it’s SUPER easy to browse around. Typography, color, and shape make sections and articles easily identifiable. It’s almost like an email newsletter the way that there’s straight up digestible chunks of content. I appreciate that there’s a collection of articles from several creative disciplines too. It lets you wander a bit outside of one focus.

I haven’t quite figured out what the “Posts you should read” section is for. I feel like maybe it’s the most popular posts, though I kept expecting the list to change when I navigated though each discipline. Also, it seems that logging in with Twitter doesn’t do anything – or maybe I just haven’t had enough coffee this morning. 🙂 All in all, I’m interested to see how this site grows.
