Props to Matt. Saw this in my RSS and assumed it was a new part of Cederholm’s site. Also, thanks for the SimpleBits heads-up – looking forward to seeing what comes out.
Can not believe you are featuring a site that is a copy. You really should try to pull out more original and creative websites.
Hey guys,
We launched on the 8th of January and found out last week about the similar curly bracket box used by simple bits (and Matt yesterday stated the same thing, thanks Matt). We went ahead and launched a new logo to hopefully remove this confusion. Instead of a curly braces box, we are now using a rounded box with arrows “pushing” out where the health sign extends out. We really like this look as it signifies we are trying to push the bounds of healthcare. Also, changed the basic background coloring and roundness of the health icon.
This is a complete clone of that other site’s logo, simplebits.
Who is your designer? Better fire him asap.
Compare the header of their site with the one of Digg.com…
Logo looks different now. Better too.
