alexbuga.com (v9)

This site blows my mind. We’ve looked at Alex’s site’s in the past, most of my criticisms are going to remain the same however. Mostly this site is what to me a traditional designer’s flash site becomes, but only done in javascript and HTML/CSS. I will say that this site from a web development standpoint is very impressive. I did enjoy discovering certain elements and using the interactions. The colors and illustrations are top-notch and awesome.

I have to say, for the record, this site is fun. I think that may be the point, it’s his personal portfolio, if you can’t have fun with that i’m not sure where you could.

There is also an iPhone version of Alex’s site, it’s far simpler than main site but equally nice.

Thanks for the nice words Gene.
I’m really excited when people observe and appreciate the underlying part of one’s work.

I spent a lot of time tuning the code too.

    Thanks!

    You got it Alex!

My review wasn’t very in-depth, but I did enjoy it.
