Submitted by Samantha Warren @samanthatoy. Role: Designer.

The Art Directors Club of Metro Washington DC is a traditional design organization in the DC area who is excited about inspiring and educating both the web and print communities in our nation’s capitol. They had gone too long with a static HTML website and needed a new energetic design that still reflected their traditional brand. The organization also needed a CMS for easy updating. The folks at Phase2 Technology jumped in to help with the design and development of this project which runs Drupal and Civi CRM.

Really nice design for the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington. Giovanni and I discussed in our screen cast review whether or not Samantha Warren was the designer, but checking back over the submission she indeed was.

We both really liked this site, it has some nice character and functions well in what it needs to do. The large slideshow images are quite nicely designed and there are some nice details here and there to check out. I also liked the sub page header typography, personally I find that a lot of Samantha’s personality comes through this design in that header typography. Great stuff!
