Christiana Bardeanu’s portfolio site shows off her work, and probably shows off a little of who she is a human too. She has her portfolio of work page which is good, but pay special attention to the floral background images – then go to her blog, and you’ll see her floral paintings (so I’m guessing that she did the background picture work too). She also has a blog post about simple responsive site designing, using her site as a walkthrough – good post: http://www.84colors.com/blog/2013/09/84colors-goes-mobile-a-simple-approach-to-responsive-web-design/ – always good to get into the mind of a designer and learn about their process.
