I like the restrained nature of this design. With the limited type selection and two color palette the work sample really jumps out. The option for the user to select different colors is neat, but I like the color set that loaded just fine.

We’ve all seen this type of layout before, but this one is done really well. There is a ton of text/copy on this website, I wonder if the same thing can be said with less? Although, this doesn’t detract from the quality of the design.

Good use of photography next to the graphical elements of the website. Good color choices and decent typography all go together to make a pretty darn good website.

There’s not a lot to this website but it’s fresh looking. The color palette is inviting and even the animation works in relation to overall design (sometimes I feel like animation can detract…). Less is definatly more with this design.

I really like the little flourishes on this design. I know it’s a blog but I’d love to see what would happen to this design if it wasn’t so blog-like.
