As event/blog sites go, this one is good. There’s a lot of information to communicate with this layout and it has been achieved without cluttering it up. The colors colours are nice and I can find out exactly what I need to know without really needing to dig too...

I wasn’t sure about this design at first but it has grown on me, the background is definately something I haven’t seen before, “denim”? But there are a lot of little details the designer worked in that I can’t help but appreciate it....

I particularly like the way this design uses the cool blue palette. It also has enough small details to feel really “finished out”.

This website has some interesting things going on. From its serif to sans-serif type usage to the muted color scheme to the grid layout beneath it all, it engages.
