There’s something to be said for a single-page design that’s done well. I’ve said it before, but if you can pull it off then go for it. For a freelancer portfolio site this one gets the job done and then some.

Good color choices, great background contrast and solid type treatment make this site a good design. I particularly like the detail work in how the background works with the other parts of the site and the little floury wing-dings in the header.

The HubSpot website is simple and unassuming at first glance, but as you go from page to page you see that attention has been given to each page of the website, it’s not just the same template for all sub-pages. Very nice touch. I really like the color scheme...

I really like the “made it myself” quality to this website. Its rough around the edges and looks “home baked”. The colors are quite nice and reflect the product quite nicely.
