InControl Orlando 2013: Christopher Schmitt

We’ll all be going to the 2013 InControl Web Design Conference in Orlando. We’ve gone the past 2 years in a row. It’s truly a top-notch content driven experience. Christopher and Ari do such a wonderful job putting this together. This year is no joke too.

Carl Smith
Aaron Draplin
Ben Callahan
Josh Clark
Chris Coyier
Meagan Fisher
Brad Frost
Zoe Gillenwater
David McFarland
Dave Rupert
Glenda Sims
Samantha Warren

All tops in their field, these folks are some of the best speaker’s i’ve heard deliver a talk, and I’ve seen a ton. The day is also ended with a “wrap up panel” where Christopher brings the day’s speakers back out so the audience can follow up with them on anything they felt was missed or just needed re-hashing.

I would LOVE tickets to this!! I am having the hardest time getting my company to sponsor me, and it looks like they aren’t going to pull through.. I’d love to avoid flipping the bill myself if at all possible.

Would love to attend and see Zoe present. I’ve followed Zoe’s writings for years on web design and accessibility, but have never met her in person.

There are some of my favorites in the speaker line-up but I would love to see and hear Meagan Fisher. Always wanted to meet her personally, and what better way than to get a chance to listen to her in this conference.

Oh wow, I’m not sure I can fully express how much I LOVE InControl. First, all of the presenters are top notch and incredibly accessible. Second, it’s impossible to walk away from it without a ton of information to apply to your own practice – equally from the technical and the creative side. As a freelancer, it truly helps me stay up to snuff on industry standards. Third, the conference has this magical way of fostering inspiration towards doing great things for the communities around us. Honestly, if I’m able to go this year, I would be so ecstatic to see any one of the speakers since they each have such a unique perspective they bring to the event. For those who are thinking of going, guaranteed you’ll walk away feeling like your a part of a pretty amazing community.

Haven’t been able to get back to InControl for a couple years and would love to do it again. No other training leaves you with such a sense of inspiration. If you’re really going to make us choose a favorite presenter, I’d have to give a tie between Chris and Zoe. Chris is always so funny and engaging, and Zoe has written one of the best CSS books ever.

I would love to go to InControl. I have never been and have been wanting to go but couldn’t find it my budget this year..
It really hard to choose just one form this awesome line up. So… its a toss up between these 4. Chris Coyier/Dave Rupert because they are the awesome dynamic duo from Shop Talk Show. Megan Fisher & Samatha Warren because I haven’t met or heard them talk yet a conference such as this one
