Zoe Gillenwater – Ep. 73

stunningcss3Zoe was just in Charlotte to speak at the Charlotte UX Meetup Group about web accessibility initiatives. We had Maria and Jay there to do a quick interview with her to talk about her newest book and what she’s been up to lately.

Her new book: Stunning CSS3 was just listed in The top 25 books for web designers and developers from .Net Magazine.

Accessibility

Zoe has worked with making websites meet accessibility goals for some time now and is currently an accessibility specialist for AT&T located in North Carolina. Maria asked her a few questions about an accessible approach using liquid site design vs. static – Zoe’s answer was a lot simpler than you’d think when you start to consider accessibility – which is what she does best, that is to make it easier, which is just great!
