So we’ve been nominated in the .net Awards 2010 for best video podcast of the year. We’re pretty excited about being nominated and humbled at the same time, what started out as a experiment a year or so ago has turned into something we really love doing. Not sure if you’ve noticed but we really love web design and the web design/dev community around these parts, some say we’re obsessed with it actually.

There are some other really great categories in the .Net awards with some really great people and websites that are very well deserving of our recognition, like: Dribbble.com, CSS-Tricks.com, nclud, Zurb, Mailchimp, the list just goes on and on, clearly we can’t name all our favorites here. That’s why it’s so fun to go and vote.

If you’re not familiar with this magazine, here’s some quick background:

Launched in 1994, .net is the world’s best-selling magazine for web designers and developers. We’re looking forward to another great awards campaign, which last year attracted over 60,000 public votes.

Like I said, as a nominee we’re just excited to be listed but of course we’d love your help too, one of the ways you can help us out is by voting for us in the “video podcast of the year” category. There are no forms, gimmicks or fees, just a simple 1-page voting site. As you can see by this list though we’re up against some really great podcasts. Podcasts that we enjoy ourselves on a regular basis!
