wishbone.org

Wishbone.org is a very cool site. Wishbone is a project that revolves around educating and retaining at risk students. You’ve got to love people who want to help educate our kids, so ten points for that.

In addition to that, wishbone.org is a tight design, full of color and detail. Its easy to get around and does a great job of telling the narrative that Wishbone’s goals.

Finally, (yes, there’s more) if you want to get schooled in the fine art of CSS3 transforms and animations, wishbone.org has them in spades! Seriously, everything is animated. Transitions are used to soften hover states in most places. Animations are used to draw attention to small details and individual snippets of content. Some of the animations are superfluous, but they all give the site energy and interest.

This site is the business.
