What a great website. This is full of great illustrations and great layout, plenty of brown (the designer’s name is Matt Brown…) Very nice blog too.
Chunking: How to Design for a Brain That Can Only Hold Four Things
Your working memory holds about four things, not seven. Chunking groups loose information into meaningful units that slip past that limit, the psychology behind phone numbers, scannable pages, multi-step forms, and grouped navigation.

Color scheme matches the owner of the site. Nice layout. Only gripe would be the teaser pics could be a little bigger.
Love the brown. A whole lot. So much so that I’m now following this guy on Twitter just because he’s all about brown.
Also love the bird in the logo.
Two things that bother me a bit (but certainly not enough for me to dislike the site):
1. I wish there was an actual home page. I don’t like that you just land on the portfolio.
2. There are two menus. One on top and one in the “A web design studio” box to the left. From a usability standpoint, I just can’t like that.
