This site is so freaking huge in scope, fonts seem pretty niche until you know a little something about fonts. I think this site is really effective because it serves up what I want in a font site, lists of categories and font styles and links to resources on fonts. That’s all, simple links and resources.

Of all the free font sites, yes this one is probably the best. They also have commercial fonts which are presented as options for those of us who don’t mind paying for quality. The navigation and UI is nicely thought out and the content is easy to browse. Makes for a very good experience, especially compared to some really bad font sites.
