Take a little text, a little provocative imagery and one of the most stripped down interfaces in existence and you apparently get something pretty interesting! restavlov.com is both cinematic and picturesque. It blends the aesthetics of high fashion photography and magazines with indie style and cinema and allows the arresting imagery to carry the user’s interest. The simple single scroll structure and vertical parallax further emphasize the cinematic qualities.

Theres not much to the site and it doesn’t hold me for more than a moment (it takes about 20 seconds to get through the whole site) but the simple text, elegant transitions and full frame photography certainly make an impression.
