I really love the minimal design that Mark Boulton and crew does. It’s just stark and beautifully done at the same time. From the hierarchy in the copy/text layout to the simple nature of making the most recent book published the main focus and having a very clear call to action this site is running on all fours. Great work!
Understanding Accessible Website Design And UX: Creating Inclusive Digital Experiences
Accessible website design is essential for ensuring equal online access for individuals with disabilities. By following W3C’s POUR principles, designers can create inclusive, user-friendly websites that work across devices and assistive technologies.
Oh man! I’m really pleased that Mark Boulton’s site and books made it to Unmatchedstyle. I have read Mark’s books all about IA and Web Design, and he really lives up to the hype. Principles found in his books are reflected on this site which is beautifully done. From creating tension using colors to the use of typography this site is a classic example of what you get when simple design principles are utilized.

Heck yeah Isaac! We’ve been fans of Mark Boulton’s work for a long time here at UMS. It may take us some time to sort through all the great sites out there but we’ll eventually get ’em… 🙂
