We have reviewed both Paravelinc.com and Trentwalton.com both on UMS in the past couple of months and really wanted to speak to someone from that company to find out more about them. So I was able to talk Trent (@trentwalton) into spending a few minutes chatting with me.

We go right into his recent blog post about CSS3 transitions and discussed how much we are looking forward to using more CSS3 in our own work. Then we discussed a post he wrote titled “position absolute” which ended with a note about a tweet recently made by Elliot Jay Stocks about how web designers today should be able to code their own work. I like Trent’s point about basically being open to change the way you view things and discussion, flexibility is indeed the web designer’s secret weapon.

One thing that I love the most about Paravelinc.com and Trentwalton.com is the illustrative quality to all the pages on these websites and how each page is a fully developed ‘art directed’ thought. I think that’s one of the strongest parts of what Paravel does. We discuss how this quality came about in their work and what goes into pulling that off. Trent is a very gracious person when it comes to his team and the work they put into each project.
