Here’s Happy Cog’s redesign of the Zappos.com. As expected it’s epic in scope. I think what’s interesting is the choice to use HTML5, that’s not too daring of a choice but I think it can set the stage for all of us to not be afraid to use it anymore.

This is a vast redesign and there’s not much here that wasn’t touched as far as I can remember, there are also lots of Amazon.com like elements on the pages now.

There’s so much here to look through it hurts my head but really spend some time on this site, there’s tons of great e-commerce type design patterns to learn from and steal use in your own projects.

    Doesn’t seem to use much actual HTML5, just the simplified DOCTYPE. There are div class=”section” elements in there which you’d think should be section elements? Nice visually though.
