We don’t get may sites to review out of Indonesia, so we’re happy to see the WEBARQ site out of Jakarta (and I personally have good memories of there and Bali… but that’s for another day). They have some cool artwork on the site that is also used for navigation. Scroll jacking in the form of ‘scroll assist’ – it may seem a little jenky at first, but I’m starting to think that it’s becoming a useful tool marketing wise to clearly define the user’s experience – and hand-positioning the path you want the user to follow to get your message across. (I hear a lot of designers that hate scroll jacking in any form – but are there really becoming use cases (like on this site) where it makes sense?) Either way – good to see this site – and looking for more good things out of Indonesia.
