Love the colors and burst of color in the header area. I like how the content areas are set inside a slightly lighter colored box like that too. Makes the colors just come off really warm and inviting and yet dark at the same time. There’s also some really nice illustrations here and there, my only criticism would be to make more of them and put them all throughout the content of the site. The illustrations are so nice and the amount of copy is a little daunting to get through – the illustrations would bring something great to those pages.
Overall I like this site design, it has everything it needs and a little more with the illustrations. Good work!
Thanks for the nice feature and comments about our site, Gene! I’m so glad that people are liking the colors. We thought it was a little risky to try to pull off using so much of the same color throughout, but we think it worked out well finally after testing many different colors.
My husband and partner Koldo did the illustrations for the site. I’ll have to tell him to make us more. 🙂
