This site has a neat navigation design, I really like the oversized buttons with the icons when you mouse over them. The main image is also quite nice. I also like the idea of replacing a kind of expected introduction message area with a few sentences that explain what the designer does and is all about. I can live with the blog being a wordpress setup, but I think the contact form should maybe be part of the site design more and not so much a popup window. Overall though this is a pretty nice designer portfolio site.
