Partnering up with a few colleagues to create a creative studio meant that a proper website was necessary. I used the opportunity to re-introduce myself to WordPress using the platform for content management. I also experimented with CSS3 media queries serving up a slightly modified layout for narrow screens like the iPhone.

Nice mixture of the single page scroller design and some traditional ‘pages’ thrown into play. I like the idea of taking the experience of the page scrolling to major sections but retaining the standard page type to hold deeper content like the portfolio and personal profile areas. The design is bold and graphic and uses white space well to pace the content up and down the page. The overall experience of this site is seamless and that’s what really sells it as you use it. You can get at content no matter what model of it you have in your head. Good stuff!

I love this site! Not only the smooth scrolling, and the beautiful type choice, but how they used that red/orange color to create a visual hierarchy that is super easy on the eyes.

One of my new years resolutions was to finally* create my portfolio site. I believe I have found the inspiration to finally do so.

    yipes! good work @derekpunsalan
