Both Giovanni and I dig this design. It’s chock full of great illustration work and details. In general it’s a nice tight design that’s all kind of impressive visually. We had a few things to pick at about the overall experience of the website, give our screencast a look and see if you agree.
I agree with what you guys said. This is a dilemma that I have every time I work on personal projects ( especially on portfolios).
Which is better, to show all your creative abilities or to keep a balance between creativity and accessibility. Or does that depend on the person behind the creation?
I think it depends on what you want to say about yourself. If you are primarily an illustrator or a print designer, then accessibility issues will probably be overlooked by a potential client (assuming the client even knows anything about accessibility). Still, we should probably try to strike a balace.
