This is the second episode of the unmatchedstyle video podcast. This week we talk about BA21 – ba21.us, Astuteo – astuteo.com, Candy Bouquet – candybouquet.com, and Hipsterist – hipsterist.com.
You’ll probably notice this weeks video looks different from last week. We’re still tweaking some things in how we want to present it, so it might even change again. So far we’re just winging this. In the last week we found out that iMovie 08 is really not a good program. One thing, they seem to have taken away the ‘Save’ function in favor of constant autosave, which is great unless Cmd-S is something you do instinctively, and when you hit that in iMovie 08 you’re greeted with a very unwelcome ‘BONK’. I’m not sure they want to be disabusing people of the need to save things. Just a thought. So we got Final Cut Express, and it’s working out so far. We also moved from Vimeo to blip.tv. Vimeo is a great site, beautifully designed and it works like a champ, just not so much for podcasts. Live and learn. So we went with blip, and it works great also, and it made it easy to get the podcast up on iTunes, which you can subscribe to. There’s also the blip feed.
