Intriguing site here. I like the single-page aspect of it, the typography is nice. I just don’t understand how you have a site for your website design talents but you don’t show any examples…

That’s only his personal site, where Dan Ritz is an integral part of the team at http://www.fortyagency.com/

…who do have examples of work online.

Thanks for the addition! This is a great website(unmatchedstyle).

I’ve been having that conversation a LOT about my website. Just moved to New Zealand and I’m keeping pretty busy with referral work and still helping around with Forty Agency. I wanted a website where people can see what it will be like working with me, more so than what I’ve done in the past.

I’m experimenting to see if the promises on the home page will help past clients and referrals who already know what I can do feel better.

So far not one potential client has asked to see a portfolio… Not one… Starting to think larger clients are more concerned with business skills and professionalism more so than design. You know, being responsive, hitting deadlines, etc.

Should have the blog portion of it up soon where I’ll talk about all this in detail.

Thanks again for the addition, and thanks Coxy for the help!

That’s very interesting indeed Dan, I can’t recall the last time a client actually asked to see our portfolio either.

Great work on the site too, that’s why we put it in the gallery. I liked the unique approach with the promises too.
