There’s nothing really spectacular about this design, but something about the roll-over elements stuck with me enough to think you should take a look. I like the unexpected nature of that graphic element. I think sometimes a small element of surprise can go a long way in making a website stand out.

There’s nothing really spectacular about this design, but something about the roll-over elements stuck with me enough to think you should take a look. I like the unexpected nature of that graphic element. I think sometimes a small element of surprise can go a long way in making a website stand out.
Large, close targets are faster to hit than small, distant ones, that’s Fitts’s Law. A look at the 1954 rule behind buttons, prime and magic pixels, thumb zones, and dark patterns.
