The Cook-Off Board are friends who care about food, parties, and competition and are endlessly thinking of ways to blend the things we love. Cookoffboard.com uses HTML5 and CSS3 along with textural design elements. For the full experience, this site is best viewed in a Webkit browser.

I love just about everything done on this website design. The background texture, the way it’s sort of “framed” visually into the browser, the interactions on the picture slideshow. The blog itself has some wonderful and very thoroughly executed details as well, like the meta info area on each post. If the quality of the food at one of these events matches the quality of the website design then count me in!
