bohemiadesign.co.uk is an attractive little retail site. The palette is soft and cool throughout but the variety of texture keeps the site from feeling bland. Structure is simple but suits the need to display gobs of content on each page. When drilling down to learn more about a product, the individual product pages have a really nice interface that offers detail and shipping information as well as a ‘like’ option cleverly designed to get people’s email. Its not intrusive and takes full advantage of an action many people are compelled to perform. Also in the single item page is an awesome, intuitive hover state for the image that replaces the text with a live magnified version of the product image that moves with your mouse. It’s hard to explain but is very effective in practice.
