Huge thanks to everyone who checked out the live show. We’ll be back on in 2 weeks to kick it up again.

Gene Crawford

With over a decade of experience in the industry he has overseen the design and architecture of hundreds of web sites and applications. An active member in the design community, he's the editor & producer of, the ConvergeSE, ConvergeFL, ConvergeRVA and the Breaking Development conference series.

  • Gotta say this was defiantly worth pausing the workload and taking 45 minutes to give it a listen… We have been working in the web design / programming industry for 7 years, many of those years learning these lessons the hard way. Your podcasts will defiantly be required listening for the team…

  • What’s the intro song you guys use?

    • Just something we snagged from AudioJungle, at this point I can’t recall what it was i’ve had it stored here on the old Hard Drive for a good year and the file name got changed. Bleh…

  • Ryan Duffy

Loved this initial episode! I met Carl at FrontEnd and knew he was cool, but I didn’t have any idea how much wisdom is stored up inside his brain. Super valuable for people serving clients.

  • Invaluable information; thank you so much for sharing!

  • Terrific inaugural episode. My only suggestion would be to use some sort of audio leveling in the future, because in this recording Gene seemed much quieter than Carl, especially during the middle portion.

    Looking forward to future episodes!

stumbled upon your podcasts this afternoon, thanks so much for putting this out there! As someone who is only just getting interested in web design, it’s really great to hear two professionals talking informally about the industry they clearly love! Props from Australia!
